Prometheus X Venture Fellowship

This is a one-year social impact program designed to empower visionary entrepreneurs from around the world. Fellows receive support to develop and test their Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) focused on scalable, AI-driven social impact ventures. In addition to financial support, fellows are connected to potential funders, industry partners, and mentors to validate and refine their prototypes.

Overlooked Talent

Despite abundant global talent, access to the mentorship, networks, and catalytic capital needed to convert bold AI ideas into impactful ventures remains uneven. Addressing foundational obstacles—like unequal access to guidance and funding—can expand the pool of high-impact AI innovators worldwide.

Broader Participation

When entire regions and communities are excluded from shaping AI, the resulting technologies risk overlooking or even harming their needs and realities. Broadening participation isn't just a matter of fairness—it expands the range of perspectives, use cases, and innovations that make AI more robust and globally relevant.

Assessment Tools:

Vanessa Bal at Rutgers: $70,000 for developing an evaluation instrument for autistic adults.

Kabelo Mahlobogwane: The Marking App for automated grading and giftedness assessment.

STEM Talent Identification Programs:

‍Ravindra Guravannavar and Dr. Shashikant Kulgod in Karnataka, India: $125,000 for a math program targeting children in extreme poverty.

Early-stage Talent Ventures:

Abhishek Sethi: $100,000 for grad-Capital, an incubator for unconventional student projects.

Andrew Bennett and Tom Westgarth: $20,000 for the Progress Prize, a blog competition identifying tech-policy talent.

James Gray: $50,000 for Seren Labs, a platform to discover deep tech founders.

STEM Mentorship and Networking Programs:

‍Keeghan Patrick, Dylan Paul, and Shergaun Roserie: $20,000 for Python, CAD, and robotics training for Caribbean youth.

Munira Mirza: $50,000 to connect science-minded talent to UK public sector jobs.

Ben Reinhardt: $50,000 to train people to run coordinated research programs.
